TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply to all attendees and/or persons or other entities (“you”) that are attending any workshop (“workshop”) organised by Mobile Jewellery School (“we” or “us”). Please ensure you have read and understood the following:
1. Acceptance of terms and conditions
By placing a booking with us you agree to the terms and conditions laid out below.
The fee for booking and attending the workshop will be as stated on the booking form for the relevant workshop for the time and date stated. All payments for the booking fee must be made in full at the time of completing the booking form to secure your place. We are unable to hold places open without full payment. On receipt of your payment you will receive a confirmation email stating your booking details, payment, details of the event and any relevant information, your obligations and our obligations to you.
All payments shall be non-refundable except as set out in paragraphs 4 and 5 below. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop for any reason you may email us at email@example.com to provide us with as much notice as possible. If you contact us more than 14 days prior to the event, we can offer you a full refund of the payment you have made. If you are unable to attend after this date, and we are able to fill your space, we will offer you a voucher for the full amount you have paid, to use at a future event. In the unlikely event that we
are not able to fill your space, we will not be able to offer you a voucher or a refund.
If you are 20 minutes late or more to your workshop you will not be allowed to attend and will not
There may be circumstances in which we need to cancel the workshop. In such circumstances, we will offer you a choice of either a full refund or gift voucher for the fee you have paid us which can be used to book onto any workshop date of your choosing within 2 years, if it is equal to or less than the booking fee originally paid. You may use your voucher as part payment for an event which
is a higher value such as a full day taster session.
5. Your obligations
If you act in any way, which in our opinion is likely to cause any harm or nuisance, or use aggressive behaviour or language, you will be required to leave the workshop and we shall not be liable to refund your booking fee or any other payment.
You must comply at all times with the health and safety policy of the venue. You must comply with all requests from us or the venue with regard to health and safety and failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the workshop, in which case no refund will be provided. You may not bring any equipment or items of a hazardous or dangerous nature to the workshop.
You shall not cause any damage to any part of the venue (including outside areas, and all inside walls, flooring, fixtures and fittings). You are solely liable for any damage caused by you, or anyone attending the workshop with you, to any such area of the venue and shall fully reimburse us in relation to any damage so caused.
Use of all tools and equipment is at your own risk and guidance must be followed.
You may not consume alcohol before or during the workshop, this will result in you being asked to leave the workshop without a refund.
You must keep your personal belongings with you at all times and we accept no liability for any damage to, loss of or theft of any of your belongings or other items brought to the workshop by you.
6. Promotional materials at the workshop
Unless otherwise stated, the copyright for any promotional materials (posters, fliers, photographs) and any other materials used at the workshop belongs to us and may not be reproduced in any medium without our prior written consent. You may use such materials for your own purposes only and may not reproduce, publish or deal with such materials in any way for any commercial use.
Any content, works, publications and information given during these workshops are only to be used for private individual use. This information is not to be copied, duplicated, performed, reproduced, distributed, modified, derived, transmitted or in any way exploited.
7. Use of workshop content
While you are free to go home and reproduce the jewellery we teach you to make and also use the information given to make more jewellery to sell on, you are not permitted to use the information given to copy our workshops, teach others or use the information in an educational format for gain. By booking onto any of our workshops and/or courses you have, by law, agreed to the above.
8. Photography and filming
We may wish to photograph or film the workshop and reserve the right to do so for the purposes of promoting future workshops or otherwise. You consent to us photographing or filming you and any persons attending the workshop with you. We will not include you in such photographs or films at your request. We will ask your permission on the day. You may also take photographs and videos
during the event with our permission on the day.
9. Data Protection
We will communicate with you using the contact details provided on the registration form for the purposes of the workshop. By booking on to a class, you consent to our storing your personal information.
We do not share any of your information with third parties, however we are required by law to keep and provide your data to NHS Test and Trace if requested up to 21 days after the workshop.
You are able to remove your consent to our storing your data at any time. You can do this by
10. Travel, accommodation and refreshments
You shall be responsible for making and paying for your own travel and arrangements to and from the workshop. If you are late to the workshop or prevented from attending the workshop due to travel delays or any other circumstances, we shall not be obliged to provide you with a refund or to wait to start the workshop until you arrive.
If you are travelling a long distance to attend our event, please make sure you leave enough time for your journey and if you need to, book in to appropriate accommodation. If you are more than 20 minutes late, we will not be able to include you in the workshop and you will not be refunded.
We do not offer any refreshments at our events but encourage you to bring your own drinking vessel, there will always be fresh drinking water available. If you are attending an all day workshop, you are responsible for bringing your own lunch. There might not be a shop nearby. We are happy for you to remain in the venue during your lunch break.
11. Disability and medical conditions
If you have any disability or medical condition that requires us to make special arrangements for you, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 14 days prior to the date of the workshop.
12. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for all workshops and are non-refundable. Vouchers must be redeemed at point of booking and are not exchangeable for cash. Vouchers are valid for 24 months from date
Our prices may change from time to time but bookings already made will not be affected.

15. Governing law
These terms shall be governed by English Law and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction
of the English Courts.

We currently collect and process the following information:

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us by you at the time of booking your
class for one of the following reasons:
●For identification purposes
●Providing details about the venue you have booked
●Emergency contact in case of accident
●Redeeming gift vouchers
●Mailing list to keep you updated about events you might be interested in
●NHS Test and Trace (21 days)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018, the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is your consent.
By booking on to one of our classes, you consent to our storing your personal information for the above purposes (see also part 9 of Ts & Cs).
With your permission we may keep your contact information in order to let you know about future events that you may be interested in.
You are able to remove your consent at any time by emailing us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Sharing your data
We do not share any of your information with third parties, apart from if requested by NHS Test and Trace, in which case we are legally required to keep and provide your contact details up to 21 days after your workshop.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored on a paper list, on a spreadsheet on our password protected computer and in our password protected email server Contacts section.
We are required by law to store your contact information for 21 days after your workshop in order to adhere to current government Covid-19 NHS Test and Trace regulations.
Destroying your personal information Should you wish to withdraw your consent to our storing your data, we will delete your
information from all of our lists, digital and paper; any paper copies will be shredded before disposal.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
●Your right of access - you have the right to ask us for copies of your personal
●Your right to rectification - you have the right to ask us to rectify personal information
you think is inaccurate.
●You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
●Your right to erasure - you have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
●Your right to restriction of processing - you have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
●Your right to object to processing - you have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
●Your right to data portability - you have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
●You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you
make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
